Delete your data

Option 1 — Delete in the app (instant)

1. Open Oversight on any platform (extension, iOS, or Android) and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately and the deletion cascades to related data. If you used Sign in with Apple, Oversight also requests token revocation from Apple and safely retries if Apple is temporarily unavailable.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

Prefer not to use the app? Email admin@renderwise.net from the email address associated with your account, with the subject "Data deletion request". We will verify ownership and complete the deletion within 30 days (usually much sooner) and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

• Your account (email, optional name, and password hash if you created one)
• Your linked Google / Apple login identities and encrypted Apple revocation credential
• Your scan history and stored scan metadata
• Your alerts and notifications
• Your team / organization memberships
• Your guardian links (as guardian and as protected person)

Note: the screenshots and images you scan are never stored in the first place — they are discarded immediately after analysis. Crowd-reported scam phone numbers are aggregate data not tied to your identity and are retained to protect other users. A keyed, pseudonymous social-provider claim may be retained only to prevent repeated introductory-trial abuse; it cannot be used to sign in and does not contain your password or provider token. We may also retain limited records where required by law (for example, billing records), plus short-lived minimal retry metadata if Apple token revocation is temporarily unavailable.
